Watch this flying knee attack at Invicta FC 48
Ever since Jorge Masvidal’s flying knee that knocked Ben Askren out cold at UFC 239 just five seconds into the fight, fans have been thirsting for other fighters to try and top what ‘Gamebred’ did.
Tonight, at Invicta FC 48 at the Reelworks Denver in Denver, Colorado, ‘The Fight Queen’ Isis Verbeek defeated Melissa Oddessa by way of unanimous decision, but it was her actions at the start of round two that got everyone talking.

Verbeek would follow up with one more flying knee, followed by several knees inside the clinch, but nothing would knock Oddessa out. It was a truly exciting, hard fought bought. Congrats to both women.
The event was overseen by the Colorado Combative Sports Commission and featured open scoring. All bouts were broadcast on AXS TV in the U.S., Fight Network in Canada, and Invicta’s official YouTube Channel and Facebook Page, starting at 9 p.m. ET/7 p.m. MT.
