Westin Wilson to have Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson corner him despite past “curse” in fights

Interview with Westin Wilson below

Westin Wilson (16-9) discusses his featherweight fight against Jeka Saragih (14-3) at UFC Vegas 93 on June 15. Westin also spoke about his loss to Jean Silva, cross training for this camp and why he’s not worried about the curse Stephen Thompson has had with past cornering experiences.

“Stephen’s stepping up (to corner me). His old curse of legs breaking has been lifted when he cornered Chris (Weidman) and he successfully fought (Bruno Silva). We joked with Wonderboy because the time he cornered Chris, he broke his leg. Then he corned me and then I broke my leg in that fight. So, we had that joke in this fight that he’s bad luck and he breaks leg.”
