World Series of Fighting postpones WSOF 35, third postponement in months
World Series of Fighting has decided to postpone their scheduled WSOF 35 event from February 28 to March 18 according to a report from MMAFighting.com.
According to the report, “The organization had yet to announce a location for the card and (Ray) Sefo wouldn’t say where the new event will be held. He also wouldn’t say whether it was moving locations from the original Feb. 28 date.” Sefo is the WSOF President.
Sefo and staff held WSOF 34, their New Year’s Eve in Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, just hours before the ball dropped in Times Square, December 31.
That card was the combination of two cancelled events in October.
The lone fight announced for the WSOF 35 card so far is Blagoy Ivanov vs. Shawn Jordan for the WSOF heavyweight title.
What does this cancellation mean, if anything, is anyone’s guess.Follow MyMMANews.com on Social Media
