WrestleMania 40 Results – Live Updates Day 1 and Day 2

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will hold their annual WrestleMania extravaganza from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this weekend.  WrestleMania 40, a two-day event at Lincoln Financial Field, will stream live on Peacock beginning at 7pm each night.

It all gets started on Saturday night with seven matches currently scheduled to take place.

In the night’s main event, The Rock and Roman Reigns take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. If Rock and Reigns are victorious, then Reigns’ defense of his undisputed WWE universal championship against Rhodes in the main event of Night 2 will be contested under “Bloodline Rules,” meaning no disqualification, no matter how many members of Reigns’ family come to his aid.

Day 2 – Sunday, April 7 – (Peacock at 7 p.m. ET)

WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes – Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns for the title

Women’s Championship: Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley – Bayley defeated Iyo Sky for the title

United States Championship: Logan Paul (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens – Logan Paul retains title

LA Knight defeated AJ Styles

Philadelphia Street Fight: Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits defeated The Final Testament

World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre – Drew McIntrye defeated Seth Rollins to claim WWE Heavyweight Title – Moments later, CM Punk attacks McIntyre.  Then Damian Priest cashes in his Money In The Bank title opportunity and defeats McIntyre to claim the belt

 


Day 1 – Saturday, April 6 – (Peacock at 7 p.m. ET)

The Rock & Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins

Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn – Zayn defeated Gunther to win the intercontinental title

Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair & Naomi vs. Damage CTRL – Bianca Belair, Naomi and Jade Cargill defeated Damage CTRL

Jey Uso defeated Jimmy Uso

Rey Mysterio & Andrade defeated Dominik Mysterio & Santos Escobar

Six Pack Ladder Tag Team Championship: The Judgment Day (c) vs. DIY vs. Awesome Truth vs. The New Day vs. A-Town Down Under vs. New Catch Republic – A-Town Down Under won the SmackDown tag team titles. Awesome Truth wins the Raw tag team titles.

Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) defeated Becky Lynch
