Zak Cummings and Alessio Di Chirico added to UFC’s Aug. 29 card
Zak Cummings and Alesscio Di Chirico will square off against one another in a middleweight bout on the UFC’s Aug. 29 card. The event does not yet have an official name or location. MMA Junkie was first to report the fight agreement.
Cummings (23-7) seems to be comfortable at 185 pounds, because he’s won two of his past three fights since moving back up to middleweight. He won back-to-back fights over Trevor Smith and Trevin Giles before losing to Omari Akhmedov in September at UFC 242.
Di Chirico (12-4), of Italy, is coming off two straight losses to Kevin Holland and Makhmud Muradov. Before those loses, Di Chirico was on a two-fight winning streak, picking up wins over Oluwale Bamgbose and Julian Marquez.
As of right right now, the Aug. fight card has three fights, which are listed below.
Aleksandar Rakic vs. Anthony Smith
Christian Aguilera vs. Sean Brady
