10 Best Trending Movies on Hulu to Watch on Weekend

Whether you are in the mood for a great drama, a comedy, or a thriller, you can find something that suits you on Hulu. With hundreds of movies to choose from, it can be hard to know where to start, so we’ve made a list of our favorite picks.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum

If you’re a fan of the John Wick series, then you should definitely check out John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. It’s the third film in the series, and it follows the titular character on his travels all over the world.

There are several options available for watching the John Wick trilogy, including Amazon Prime, Hulu, and YouTube. You can also buy a digital copy on Apple iTunes, Google Play Movies, or Xbox Live.

Heathers

There are plenty of other sites out there that have similar content but Hulu is king of the hill because it offers a 30-day free trial. You can sign up for a monthly subscription for a mere $7.

The Hulu library is impressive and features recent releases from David Cronenberg and Claire Denis. Moreover, you can access a sizable catalogue of classics and cult favorites. It is a great way to spend a rainy afternoon if your local cineplex is too far away.

But to access Hulu in Philippines you need to subscribe to a reliable VPN then you can watch so many interesting movies on Hulu including Heathers.

Blackfish

Blackfish is an excellent documentary that explores the effects of captive orcas. It also examines the relationship between humans and nature. This film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture in 2018.

This film includes interviews with former SeaWorld workers and is an important examination of how orcas are treated. It also documents the physical and psychological damage caused by keeping orcas in captivity.

Fallout

The top of the line is Hulu’s upcoming Mission Impossible: Fallout, a mash up of the latest instalment of the long running franchise and the latest installment in the Man of Steel franchise. A cast of stars and a hefty budget make this one a doozy. In a time, consuming feat, Hulu managed to bring together the likes of Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan and Ving Rhames. For the most part, the movie lives up to the hype.

Hotel Transylvania

Hotel Transylvania is a horror film series based on a novel by Roald Dahl. It has a budget of about $85. Million. The movie was released in September 2012.

“Hotel Transylvania” is the first film in the series. Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, it was released in 2012. Count Dracula (Adam Sandler) is the hotel owner and operator of a resort that is only open to monsters. He is worried about his grandson, Dennis, who is half human and half vampire.

The Princess

The Princess is a movie that’s both an impressive title and a solid action flick. Le-Van Kiet’s film clocks in at around 91 minutes and has a pretty sweet hook.

It’s a skewed version of the Disney “she isn’t your average princess” motif. Instead of marrying her prince, the princess goes for the kill.

This movie isn’t the glitziest or the most exciting film, but it is certainly a decent entry into the world of cinema. Fortunately, the main cast has the requisite grit to carry it off.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer

If you’re looking for a disturbing, psychological thriller, The Killing of a Sacred Deer is a good choice. It’s a movie that asks questions, but gives you no real answers. Ultimately, the answer is not a happy one.

In this film, a young man is forced to make an unthinkable sacrifice when his life falls apart. Lanthimos’s style of storytelling coheres to produce as intense a feeling as his images.

The Patriot

The Patriot is a pretty good Revolutionary War movie. It’s got an engaging plot, and a decent cast. There’s nothing here to blow your socks off, but it’s definitely worth a watch.

There’s a lot to be said for this film, but there are a few standouts that don’t get much love from the rest of the audience. Here are some of them.

Parasite

Parasite is the latest from South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho. It’s an anti-capitalist tale that focuses on an impoverished family that infiltrates a wealthy family. The film features strong social commentary and a darkly humorous ending.

Parasite is set in a semi-basement apartment. The Kim family is unemployed and made up of father Ki-taek (Song Kang-ho), his wife Chung-sook (HyaeJin Chang) and their adult children, Ki-jung and Ki-woo. Their income is provided by the Parks, a wealthy family with children and a house. They use any bit of information they can get to their advantage.

Shoplifters

Shoplifters is a Japanese drama film about a family living in a poor neighborhood in Tokyo. The story centers on a husband and wife and their two children. They live in a small, ramshackle bungalow owned by a woman named Granny Hatsue.

This family was made up by choice. But it is not without its share of personal difficulties. One night, the Shibata’s bring home a homeless girl. Yuri, who is five, is virtually mute in the beginning. It isn’t long before she begins to warm up to the makeshift family.

Minding the Gap

If you’re into skateboarding, you’ll be intrigued by Bing Liu’s documentary Minding the Gap. The film explores the lives of three young men who were raised in an impoverished neighborhood in Rockford, Illinois.

A key aspect of Minding the Gap is that it focuses on three teenagers: Zack, a new father; Keire, who struggles with his father’s death and how to cope with racial identity; and Nina, a girlfriend with a rough past. All of these characters are grappling with a childhood of abuse, but they lack meaningful conceptual tools to understand and process the experience.

Conclusion:

Here are the recommendations of some of the best movies on Hulu that you can watch to get away from your daily routine. Watch all these movies and enjoy your Weekend.
