Aiemann Zahabi, Corey Anderson, Michael Chiesa join SFLC Podcast
Big, jam-packed show tonight as we kick things off with Aiemann Zahabi (@AiemannZahabi) coming off of his successful UFC debut, a victory over Reginaldo Vieira at UFC Halifax last month.
(5:24) Aiemann talks about the win, going to a decision for the first time in his career, when he’s looking to get back in there, being Firas Zahabi’s brother, GSP’s return and more.
(21:29) We then chat to Corey “Overtime” Anderson (@CoreyA_MMA) as he prepares for his main event fight against Jimi Manuwa next Saturday in London. Corey talks about the fight, the fans, media, etc. saying this is not a main event caliber fight, how important this fight is, in not only his career, but also for the reputation of the division.
(40:56) Then, we close out with UFC Lightweight Michael Chiesa (@MikeMav22) as he is working on making his return to the octagon. He talks about his injury, causing him to pull out of his fight with Tony Ferguson, Eddie Alvarez, the reaction of Alvarez taking the fight with Porier, and what he wants as he gets ready to make his return to the octagon.
