Alan Jouban

Alan Jouban meets Jared Gooden at UFC 255 on Nov. 21

Alan Jouban will finally make his way back inside the octagon against Jared Gooden at UFC 255 on Nov. 21.

After over a year-long layoff, Jouban enters the first bout of of his new five-fight contract. MMA Junkie confirmed the booking with people close to the matchup.

Jouban suffered a knee injury in a split-decision loss to Dwight Grant back at UFC 236 in April 2019. He underwent surgery this past November, leaving him sidelined.

Jouban’s last victory was a “Fight of the Night” knockout against Ben Saunders at UFC on FOX 28 in February 2018. The 38-year-old has not been very active after only fighting twice in the last two years.

Regardless, Alan Jouban signed a new five-fight deal with the promotion and will start it off against Gooden.

Gooden’s UFC debut is getting closer. He was set to make his first walk to the octagon against Grant in August, but was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Gooden is the winner of his last three, most recently finishing Trent McCown via second-round TKO at Titan FC 62 this past July.

The event will be available on pay-per-view and is still without a location.
