UFC lightweight Alex Hernandez speaks with Mike Heck of MyMMANews about last weekend’s UFC Brooklyn fight against Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.

Hernandez talks about earning the spotlight at the press conference before the event went down in New York.  “The Great” was the talk of the town after throwing trash talk toward

“He got real upset Thursday.  You could tell it got to him big time,” Hernandez said.  “Then on Friday, going into the weigh-ins, I think that he probably had a look in the mirror and recomposed himself really well.  I felt like I was already under him (his skin) on Friday, but I think what he was trying to do was remember to relax.  So Friday at the weigh-ins he wasn’t as stirred up as he was Thursday.  We were going, but he was conceding to me, like he just conceded to it.  In my mind I saw it as weakness but for him I think he was just trying to relax and push me out of his mind, not let me get under his skin.”

Hernandez talks about mistakes that he made during the contest and what he has done since in terms of watching the footage.
