Andy Main gets third opponent for CFFC interim featherweight title bout

They say “third time’s a charm.”  Andy Main receives his third opponent for the upcoming December 17, Cage Fury Fighting Championship featherweight title at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Main was originally scheduled to fight current CFFC featherweight champion Jared Gordon for the official strap.

Then Gordon was injured and to salvage the fight and keep Main on the card an interim bout was put in place against Bill Algeo.

We have now learned that Algeo too is injured, so in comes Pedro Falcão.  The announcement came via the CFFC Facebook page:

“Our Co-main event of the evening has experienced some changes. Bill Algeo had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. We wish him a speedy recovery. The show will still go on however, as Andy Main has is now set to fight Pedro Falcão for the interim featherweight title at #CFFC62.”

Pedro Falcão (9-2) is on a three fight win streak but is a newcomer to the CFFC organization. He is a Shooto Brasil Veteran fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
