Australian MMA Prospect Jack Becker suffers horrific injury at Eternal MMA 66

Australian MMA prospect and UFC hopeful, Jack Becker, suffered a gruesome injury today at Eternal MMA 66.

As half of the main event, Becker was looking to defend his EMMA lightweight title against Aidan Aguilera. In what was expected to be one of his final bouts before getting called to the big stage, Becker’s ankle horrifically snapped just seconds into the first round.

Eternal MMA posted the full fight on their Instagram, you can view it here.

Prior to Eternal MMA 66, Becker (10-3-0) was on a three-fight win streak, with wins over Aguilera, Daniel Hill, and Brentin Mumford. At just 29-years old, Becker is listed as the #2 lightweight in the Australian and New Zealand circuit and the #14 lightweight in Japan, according to Tapology.

As Becker lost the bout due to the injury, Aguilera was crowned the new EMMA lightweight champion and is now 2-3 in his last five.

With such a horrific end to what could have potentially been a life-changing night for Jack Becker, we wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back soon.
