Both fighters enjoying the fruits of their labor, the pair enjoyed the sights of what Universal Studios had to offer.  DeJesus was vibrantly enjoying her win, as she improved to four wins in a row when she defeated Brittney Cloudy via Unanimous Decision at Invicta FC 47. Slightly critical in her assessment, DeJesus says, “First round, I was a little too calm and I let her set the pace when I shouldn’t. So, this one (pans camera to Olena) starts losing her f*cking mind in the cage,” DeJesus says with a laugh.  Explaining Olena was instructing her “show me how you fight.”

As the fight progressed, the pair battled back and forth with DeJesus starting to inch ahead. “I think I stunned her for a little bit. She didn’t anticipate the power,” DeJesus says. “As you can see on the replay in her face.” Knowing the bout was leaning in her favor, DeJesus’ confidence was continuing to grow. “I saw how she walked back to her corner at the end of the second round. That’s why you see me smiling,” she clarifies.

As the third and final round began, DeJesus felt in control of the fight and comfortable.  She noticed Cloudy’s strikes didn’t retain the same “steam” as earlier in the bout. “I knew if I kept putting out a high output” Cloudy may second guess engaging with DeJesus.  Expanding, “But, I didn’t want to be too out of control. I wanted to kind of move my head and see where she was going,” DeJesus explains. “As soon as I saw that her punches really didn’t have any steam to them is when I started to flurry her and put her on the cage.”

Following the bout, DeJesus took to the mic to respectfully demand a title shot while pleading her case inside of the cage.  Explaining to MyMMANews, “I want respect put on my name. This is a four-fight win streak now. That is a lot in the bantamweight division. Being Invicta or UFC, having a four-fight win streak is pretty impressive. So, I called for my belt,” DeJesus thoroughly explained.

“I fought (current Invicta FC Bantamweight champion) Taneisha Tennent three years ago,” DeJesus exclaims. “I saw what she was last year, she hasn’t changed! Well, I have changed,” DeJesus insists. “Even 3 years ago, I had a close fight with her. Imagine what the hell I’ll do now,” DeJesus rhetorically inquires. That potential rematch, however, will be put on ice for the moment as Tennent has a scheduled title defense at hand. Much to the surprise of DeJesus.

“My heart is broken. There’s a Bellator featherweight coming down to bantamweight who is 1-2, fighting Taneisha Tennent for the bantamweight title,” she explains. “So, my million-dollar question is this…A) how did that happen? B) Does Invicta have a plan in place for if this girl cannot successfully make the bantamweight title champion limit?  I have made weight plenty of times!”

“They better give me the winner, obviously,” DeJesus insists.  “It would make the most sense, business-wise,” she elaborates.  “I’m a company woman! I put butts in seats. I always have put butts in seats for Invicta. I bring views. I want to work with Invicta. Let’s help each other out. You give me good quality fights. You give me the things I want. I put ass’ in seats, you make money, everybody goes home happy!”
