Battle of former Invicta Champions: Jessica Penne vs. Emily Ducote added to UFC on ABC 3
UFC on ABC 3 now has a strawweight showdown between former Invicta Fighting Championship champions, Jessica Penne and Emily Ducote.
Jessica Penne (14-5-0) defeated Naho Sugiyama for the Invicta FC atomweight strap back in 2012. Following her run in Invicta FC, she made the move to the UFC on the 20th season of The Ultimate Fighter. Having been with the promotion for nearly 8 years, Penne has collected notable wins over the likes of Randa Markos and Lupita Godinez.
Her most recent outing came in 2021, where she defeated Karolina Kowalkiewicz via first-round submission.

Ducote (11-6-0) will be making her promotional debut come July. In 2019, she made her way to Invicta FC where she climbed the ranks and ultimately won the strawweight strap. Over the course of her career, the 28-year-old has defeated the likes of Kathryn Paprocki, Juliana Lima, and Danielle Taylor.
Her most recent outing came just a few weeks ago when she successfully defended her title by defeating Alesha Zappitella via doctor stoppage.
UFC on ABC 3 takes place on July 16th in Elmont, New York, and is to be broadcasted on ABC and ESPN+.
