Adam Assenza on BTC 15 “Looking at Dominic Clark and beating his ass”

Adam Assenza tests skills with Dominic Clark in the BTC 15 main event on June 4th. This BTC Fight Promotions lightweight contest goes down in Burlington, Ontario.

Assenza returned to Bowks Talking Bouts and covered several subjects. Excerpts from our chat are below.

Adam Assenza

Being from Burlington and headlining an event in his hometown here at BTC 15: Homecoming

“Obviously everybody is going to be coming out for that. So I’m super for it. For me, I thrive off of the crowd being behind me and being loud. So that’s the way I like it. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Winning past championships with BTC and B2 Fighting Series and Assenza’s goals going forward

“For me, it’s just be staying busy. Fighting as much as possible. The goal is obviously the UFC. Get to the big show and get some big fights there. That’s the goal. I’m not looking too far into the future right now. I’m just looking at Dominic Clark and beating his ass. So in general, that’s the goal.”

Assenza’s thoughts on Dominic Clark’s skills and resume overall

“He’s a well rounded fighter. He’s good everywhere. Doesn’t have too many weaknesses and I’m just going to look to be sharp and impose my will.”

Parting thoughts for Adam Assenza

“Just if you’re in the Burlington area, Hamilton, Oakville anywhere around here, definitely come out to the fights. If you’ve never been to a live fight before, you’re definitely going to enjoy it. You’re missing out for sure if you haven’t been to one. There’s some great food vendors. There’s a lot of other great causes going on at this event on this night. And we’re a stone’s throw away from downtown Burlington. So you can go out and enjoy some nightlife too. Definitely come check it out and I’ll see you guys at the fights.”
