BCM Promotions, No Love Lost

BCM Promotions returns with “No Love Lost” this weekend in Mansfield, Ohio

BCM Promotions returns for their 12th event this weekend, as they’ll host “Fight Night XII: No Love Lost” at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield, Ohio.

In the main event, James Haley and Kanyon Tackett will square off for the promotion’s amateur featherweight title.

Haley went on a tear in 2022, going 3-0 with two first round finishes after losing five of his previous six bouts. His most recent victory was a 53-second guillotine choke submission over Malcolm Jackson at BCM Promotions: Fight Night 11 in November. He trains out of Apex Fight Systems and has his sights set on turning pro if he’s able to pick up a title win in this bout.

Tackett, who trains out of Wolverine MMA in Mansfield, returns to action for the first time since 2019. He holds a 3-1 record with all three of his wins coming via submission. His only loss was against Mo Miller, who currently holds a 7-2 pro record.

In the co-feature, local favorite Zane Finley and Sam McGuigan will throw down in a middleweight contest.

Still just 20 years old, the Mansfield native Finley comes in looking to rebound from the first loss of his career in his last outing. “The Sparkplug” trains out of Wolverine MMA and earned a submission in his first outing at BCM Promotions: Fight Night 10 last August.

McGuigan comes in looking to even his record, which currently stands at 2-3. He’s lost his last two after winning two in a row, and he’s now training at Ares Combat Sports under the tutelage of Dave Graf.

BCM Promotions: Fight Night 12 will stream live via Heart of Ohio Sports.
