Belal Muhammad vs. Sean Brady targeted for Dec. 19 UFC event
Welterweights Belal Muhammad and Sean Brady will face one another at UFC’s event on Dec. 19.
No location has been confirmed, but the event is expected to take place inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. First reported by MMA Junkie, the promotion has not made an official announcement.
Belal Muhammad is on a three-fight win streak and has won seven out of his last eight octagon appearances. He is fresh off a unanimous-decision victory against Lyman Good at UFC on ESPN 11 this past June.
It came after he earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus with his submission win against Takashi Sato at UFC 242 in September 2019. His last defeat was a unanimous decision loss to Geoff Neal at UFC on ESPN+ 1 in January 2019.
Sean Brady is coming off his first finish inside the octagon, a second-round “Performance of the Night” submission win against Christian Aguilera at UFC Fight Night 175 this past August. The unbeaten welterweight is already three fights into his UFC career with wins against Ismail Naurdiev and Court McGee.
