$49.95 price tag placed on Bellator 180 pay-per-view

The one question that all mixed martial arts fans wanted answers to was answered during The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani on Monday.

“The pay-per-view, just so you know, is $49.95,” Bellator MMA President Scott Coker said. “Some providers, I think they have the ability to choose and pick (prices) and whatever, but suggested retail price is $49.95.”

Coker was talking in regards to the highly anticipated Bellator 180 event to be held June 24 at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.

The $49.95 price tag is for the hi-definition display.  Usually standard definition is set around $10 cheaper than the hi-def price which would put that purchase at $39.95.

The current Bellator 180 fight card looks like:

Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Matt Mitrione

Michael Chandler vs. Brent Primus

Douglas Lima vs. Lorrenz Larkin

James Gallagher vs. Chinzo Machida

Aaron Pico vs. TBD
