Bellator 201 Results – Ilima-Lei Macfarlane vs. Alejandra Lara
Bellator MMA held Bellator 201 this evening from the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. In the night’s main event Bellator women’s flyweight champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane put her title on the line for the first time against Colombia’s Alejandra Lara. MacFarlane defeated Emily Ducote at Bellator 186 at Penn State in November 2017 to capture the belt. Tonight MacFarlane attempted submission after submission, finally getting Lara to tap in third frame to retain the strap.
