Bellator 237 results: Michael Page ends striking show with KO

On Saturday night, Dec. 28, 2019, Bellator MMA makes its organizational debut in Japan for Bellator 237. The event takes place at the world famous Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan and will be headlined by a heavyweight battle between legends of the sport, as Fedor Emelianenko takes on Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

Bellator 237 takes place in collaboration with RIZIN FF.

In a catchweight fight at 173 pounds, Michael “Venom” Page makes a quick turnaround to face Shinsho Anzai. After suffering the first loss of his career to Douglas Lima at Bellator 221, “MVP” bounced back with consecutive highlight reel knockouts of Richard Kiely and Gianni Melillo. Page looks to make it three straight wins a little over a month after his last appearance.

After a 2-2 tenure with the UFC, Anzai returned to competition after a 15-month layoff at DEEP 91 and picked up a technical decision win over Yoichiro Sato in September. The 34-year-old Anzai holds Octagon wins over Roger Zapata in 2015, and Luke Jumeau in 2017.

Here is how the fight between Michael Page and Shinsho Anzai went down at Bellator 237, including round-by-round scoring. For full event results, check them out right here.
