Brandao vs Hettes reset for Newark

Cleared by doctors to compete after being forced out of his UFC 183 meeting against Diego Brandao in January, Jimy Hettes will get another chance to throw hands with the former TUF winner, as the featherweight standouts will meet on April 18 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Brazil’s Brandao, winner of season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter, has had his hand raised in three of his last five bouts, with a July 2014 loss to Conor McGregor firing him up to return to the win column. Sharing the same determination after a March 2014 defeat at the hands of Dennis Bermudez, Hettes hopes to regain the form that has seen him end two of his three UFC wins by submission.
