Brandon Lewis talks upcoming fight on DWCS on Sept. 13

Brandon Lewis all ready for his second major opportunity in the sport of mixed martial arts.

Last year, Lewis was invited to fight on Dana White’s Contender Series and had the chance to earn a UFC contract. Unfortunately for Lewis, he suffered a loss on the show to Mo Miller and UFC president Dana White did not selected him for a UFC contract.

Now one year later, Lewis has once again been invited to participate on the show and this time he’s planning on leaving Las Vegas and to head back home to Tampa, Fla. with a UFC contract.

For Lewis the experience of already being on the show should be a major advantage has knows exactly how the fight week plays out inside of the UFC Performance Institute.

Standing across the octagon from Lewis on Sept. 13 will be Daniel Marcos and Lewis is expecting Marcos to come into the fight well prepared, but at the end of day, Lewis feels that his pressure and pace will be enough to get the win.

Prior to the fight, Lewis spoke with MyMMANews about his matchup with Marcos, what its like having the experience of already competing on the show and the growing amount of talent coming out of the Tampa area.

You can watch his full interview in the video above.
