Mohammed Said Maalem vows to get revenge, promises to retire Mohammad Fakhreddine in trilogy fight

BRAVE CF’s Mohammed Said Maalem vows to get revenge, promises to retire Mohammad Fakhreddine in trilogy fight

Mohammed Said Maalem is gunning for revenge. Less than a month removed from his loss against arch-rival Mohammad Fakhreddine, the Algerian hero is looking to get another crack at his Lebanese counterpart and has promised to make ‘’The Latest’’ retire if and when they meet again.

Said believes he should fight Fakhreddine again after yet another drama-filled night at BRAVE CF 57. He also claims their co-main event in Bahrain should be changed to a No Contest and Fakhro should lose his belt again. While no final decision has been made by the commission, Maalem is ready to run it back with his enemy regardless.

‘’I want my revenge with a referee that will respect the rules of the game, and you have my word I will finish him. He (Fakhreddine) will even retire. Don’t try to run away from me and accept the fight’’, said Maalem

The rivalry between Said Maalem and Fakhreddine can be traced back to BRAVE CF 50, when they were supposed to meet for the then-vacant Light Heavyweight world title. However, a couple of hours before fight time, Fakhro pulled out, leaving a livid Said to go to the cage and begin a huge rivalry with both men exchanging trash talk throughout the build-up to their actual first fight.

At BRAVE CF 52, Said Maalem initially beat Fakhreddine before their fight became a No Contest due to punches to the back of Fakhreddine’s head. After their rematch at BRAVE CF 57, in which Fakhro has come out victorious, Maalem is claiming the same issue happened and has promised to get another crack at his rival.
