Just weeks after moving back mainland from Hawaii, “The Pink Ranger” Bryanna Fissori will make yet another daring leap. Now in Kansas, Fissori will step in the ring instead of the cage as she competes in her first boxing contest, September 9.
“I’m kind of a ground fighter but I’m going to give it a go,” Fissori tells MyMMANews.
She will compete against Julie Murray on the Danger-Fire Promotions Boxing & MMA fight card.
After winning her first two professional mixed martial arts contests, Fissori has been on a downhill skid, losing four in a row.
Don’t let the numbers fool you however.
All four fights have been extremely competitive. Three of the four went to a decision with one of those resulting in split scorecards. The other was a TKO loss with less than a minute and a half left in the third round.
Fissori’s boxing debut goes down this Saturday at the Kansas ExpoCentre in Topeka, KS. 5 pm doors, 6 pm fights.
