Cage Warriors 111 Adds Paddy Pimblett-Donovan Desmae Bout
Cage Warriors 111 adds a monster fight between Liverpool’s hometown cult favorite, Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett, to it’s card as he is set to face off with Donovan Desmae. The card is set to take place at Indigo at the O2 Arena in London, England. It will be aired on UFC Fight Pass in the United States and will likely be on BT Sports in the UK.
Paddy Pimblett is on a skid coming into Cage Warriors 111, albeit to the best talent. Now-UFC talent, Stevie Ray, heel hooked Pimblett in a grappling bout at Polaris 11. Before that, Pimblett lost to now-Bellator signed, Søren Bak. Pimblett looks to bounce back with a win at Cage Warriors 111.
Donovan Desmae is a Cage Warriors veteran. His first fight with the promotion was in 2017 and he has fought eight times since his debut, going 5-4 in that time. His last two fights have been finishes and he looks to extend his win streak to three fights with a victory.
“I was scheduled to fight Donovan in December last year, and I said when I had to pull out that if he wants the fight when I come back, then he can have it. I’m a man of my word,” says Pimblett.
“Everything happens for a reason, because Donovan’s now the number one contender. I’ll come back, take Donovan out and then I’ll be coming for that belt.”

Pimblett and Desmae are the latest announcements in what’s slated to be a stacked Cage Warriors card. The card is headlined by two title fights as Mads Burnell and James Webb defend their respective belts. Burnell takes on Steve Aimable in the co-main event. Webb will fight Nathias Frederick in the main event middleweight title fight. You can see all the other confirmed names below.
