Mike “The Gentlemen” Martinez, 20, is scheduled to battle the 12-year elder, Nequoyah Sethi (2-4) in a bantamweight title fight. Sethi, coming off a loss at Ground Force Fights 2, seeks to end Martinez’ unblemished record. Martinez (3-0), of Atlas Jiu Jitsu, is currently ranked No. 13 in New York at bantamweight. The No. 13-ranked fighter will have his toughest career bout when he battles the 32-year-old Sethi. Sethi and Martinez are both fighters capable of grinding for a full three rounds. This bout will be a war at all points of the fight and the geography of this matchup is too unpredictable to try an guess a possible outcome.
The fights will be sanctioned by the USMTA, which was the first third-party sanctioning body licensed by the New York State Athletic Commission.
The fights will be streaming live via FloCombat (Click Link for Stream) broadcast. The broadcast will be commentated by Ed Kinner, a former martial arts trainer, and a current regulation director; and Kyle Carroll, a journalist for My MMA News and radio host at Sportsonthego1.com. The broadcast will be available on TV through Roku and Apple TV4. The Stream is scheduled to go live Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 8 p.m. ET.
