Official Result: Caio Borralho def. Armen Petrosyan via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
Borralho opens up the bout with a round kick to the head before shooting on and securing a double leg. He spends the remainder of the first with Petrosyan locked in his body triangle in search of the rear naked choke.
Borralho secures another double leg early on in the second and soon after jumps to mount.
Petrosyan is eventually able to get back to his feet, but not for long, as he ends the second the same way as he ended the first, in Borralho’s body triangle.
Petrosyan’s defense holds up a little better in the third, as he’s able to stuff most of Borralho’s shots. He is however double legged once again toward the end of the third, though he’s right back to his feet for the first time in the fight.
