Cat Zingano vs. Pam Sorenson Rescheduled for June
A featherweight matchup between Cat Zingano and Pam Sorenson is in the works to be rebooked for Bellator 282 in June.
Originally slated to face off at Bellator 276, the bout was scratched due to an injury sustained by Zingano.
Now slated for Bellator 282, the two will make their third walk to the cage under the Bellator banner.
Zingano (12-4-0) made her way to Bellator in 2020 following a five-year stint in the UFC. During her time with the UFC, she racked up a record of 3-4, with wins over Miesha Tate, Amanda Nunes, and Marion Reneau. Now as an undefeated Bellator contender, Zingano will be looking to get her third consecutive win come Bellator 282.
Former Invicta FC featherweight champion, Sorenson (9-4-0), has gone 1-1 under the Bellator banner. In her promotional debut, “Bam” defeated Roberta Paim Samad via split decision but came up short against Arlene Blencowe at Bellator 271.
Bellator 282 takes place on June 24th at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.
