CFFC 65 results - 3 titles on the line in Philadelphia

CFFC 65 results – 3 new champions crowned in Philadelphia

Cage Fury Fighting Championships will hold CFFC 65 tonight from the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Three title fights headline this sensational mixed martial arts fight card promoted by Alliance MMA.

The championship bouts included Anton Berzin taking on Jamelle Jones for the inaugural light heavyweight title and and exciting matchup between Joe Lowry and Mike Pope for the lightweight title.

The main event featured Sean Brady vs. Tanner Saraceno for the vacant welterweight title.  Brady won the belt with a first round guillotine choke submission.

Lowry made short work of the champion to take home some new hardware after a first round knockout.

Berzin of Balance Studios scored a second round TKO to take home the organization’s first 205 lb., title.

Earlier in the week Alliance MMA President Robert Haydak announced that CFFC 65 would follow it’s previous two fight cards, selling out before the doors even opened.

“This is the third sellout in a row for CFFC,” Haydak said. “After sellouts in both Atlantic City and San Diego in early 2017, we could not be more thrilled with the reception of CFFC’s return to their backyard of Philadelphia. It’s clear our regional promotions continue to provide fans what they’re looking for.”

Joe Solecki  suffered the first loss of his combined amateur and pro career. After going 5-0 ammy, and 3-0 as pro, Solecki lost a unanimous decision to rising star Cesar Balmaceda who was also trying to stay undefeated. Balmaceda moves to 3-0.

This is CFFC’s first fight in Philadelphia in 2017 and features three Philadelphia-based fighters including Berzin, Lowry, and top northeast prospect Brady.
