CHECK THIS OUT: Cat Zingano and Alejandra Lara train jiu-jitsu in pool

It is no secret that working out in the pool can significantly increase performance.

Exercising in water has long been known as a vigorous alternative when recovering from injuries or simply when routines need a shakeup.

Water Aerobics is a low impact activity that reduces the pressure on bones, joints, and muscles through buoyancy.

Bellator MMA and former UFC fighter Cat Zingano has long been a fan of aquatics training. Now ‘Alpha Cat’ is taking her training to another level with jiu-jitsu in pool.

Training alongside Alejandra Lara, also a professional mixed martial artist under the Bellator banner, Zingano wrote on her Instagram, “Working BJJ and UTL drills in the deep end. 💦

“Could you do all of this on one breath? How many moves do you see and what are their names?

“Swimming is honestly one of my favorite training sessions, there’s nothing quite like it for mental and physical endurance.
