Chris Daukaus violently finishes Rodrigo Nascimento in just 45 seconds at UFC Fight Island 5

A packed UFC on ESPN+37 card will take place on “Fight Island” tonight, Saturday, Oct. 10.
Headlining the 14-bout event is a matchup between top-five ranked bantamweights Marlon Moraes and Cory Sandhagen. The co-main event features a featherweight bout between Edson Barboza and Makwan Amirkhani inside the Flash Forum in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
On the prelims, heavyweights Chris Daukaus (9-3) takes on Rodrigo Nascimento (8-0).  Daukaus has really concentrated on his conditioning and weighed in at 227 which is the lightest he has ever been for a fight.  Nascimento topped the scales at the 265 lb limit.  This is how the fight went down…
Round 1
Chris Daukaus did not waste any time in collecting his second consecutive victory in the octagon as he bludgeoned Nascimento in 45 seconds. The southpaw Daukaus, landed a big left that knocked Rodrigo to the mat. As Nascimento was on his back looking for Daukaus to engage on the ground, Daukaus from his feet landed a vicious left followed by a right elbow.  As his opponent wobbled to his feet, Daukaus finished him off with several more punishing lefts and rights and the referee had no choice but to stop the fight.
