Tom Breese breezes through Bhullar with first round TKO

A packed UFC on ESPN+ 37 card will take place on “Fight Island” tonight, Saturday, October 10.

Headlining the 14-bout event in a matchup between top-five ranked bantamweights Marlon Moraes and Colby Sandhagen. The co-main event features a featherweight bout between Edson Barboza and Makwan Amirkhani inside the Flash Forum in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

In a middleweight bout, K.B “The Bengal” Bhullar puts his undefeated record on the line as he takes on Tom Breese.

Bhullar is 8-0 in his young MMA career, with a fight scheduled next month for Dana Whites Contender Series. A very uncommon feat considering he’ll be making his UFC debut this evening. Six of his “The Bengals” eight wins come within the first round via stoppage, which could bring present a heavy task to Breese who is coming off of a first-round TKO loss.

Breese comes into this bout as the UFC veteran and overall favorite. His overall experience could be a viable option for his key to success in this bout. With standout wins over Cathal Pendred, Keita Nakamura, and Daniel Kelly inside the Octagon, we’ll see how Breese handles the standout “Bengal” K.B. Bhullar.

Round 1: Both fighters start with stiff jabs. Breese keeps at him, throwing a 1-2 threw the middle. Bhullar is looking to work his legs early. Breeze is popping in, mixing it up with his punches and kicks. Bhullar is throwing a single shot while trying to figure his opponent out. Breeze continues the pressure and connects a strong left hand that wobbles Bhullar. Bhullar backpedals and Breese continues to move forward on his attack. Breese lands a stiff jab that drops Bhullar to the canvas. Breese pounces on Bhullar with several nasty hammer fists to force the referee to call a halt to this bout.
