Following BKFC’s most explosive event to date, KnuckleMania, the promotions most prominent fighters were ringside to bear witness. It was a historic night full of firsts for the young promotion. The lightweight title changed hands when Dat Nguyen defeated BKFC’s inaugural champ, “Brutal” Johnny Bedford via decision. UFC vet and sports illustrated swimsuit model, Paige VanZant had an unpleasant welcoming to the promotion, dropping a decision to Britain Hart. On top of the retirement bout of the combat sport’s legend, Chris “The Crippler” Leben. It was an evening not soon to be forgotten.
KnuckleMania was capped off with Britain Hart taking on “12 Gauge” Paige Van Zant in Van Zant’s bare-knuckle debut. A particular bout that intrigued BKFC lethal striker, “Misfit” Christine “Misfit” Ferea.
“Britain Hart was the experienced fighter so she knew what she had to do and she got it that night,” Ferea says about the KnuckleMania main event. Ferea, familiar with the evening’s winner, Britain Hart, defeated her previously at BKFC: 5 via 2nd round TKO. Both fighters’ sophomore outings within the promotion.

I feel like this is what I was called to do”, she professes. As far as a return for the heavy-handed 125’er, “I’m back in May,” she says. “Whatever Dave (Feldman; BKFC president) and Nate (Shook; matchmaker) want, that’s what I’m gonna do and I’m just going to demolish whoever is in front of me!” Although, no opponent is set in stone, Ferea insists, “I want to fight any of these fighters that are 150% about it.” Reminding her fans and potential opponents that she’s eager, she’s motivated, and “I’m just getting ready…”
