Claudia Gadelha meets Yan Xiaonan at UFC’s Sept. 26 event

Claudia Gadelha makes her third appearance of 2020 against Yan Xiaonan at UFC’s event on Sept 26.

First reported by Combate, the two top-ranked strawweights agreed to meet at a yet-to-be announced event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gadelha is fresh off a controversial split decision against Angela Hill at UFC on ESPN 8 on May 16. It is part of a two-fight win streak, which includes a unanimous decision victory over Randa Markos at UFC 239 in July 2019.

Xiaonan is unbeaten in her last 11 appearances. She is undefeated at 5-0 inside the octagon, most recently beating former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC on ESPN+ 26 on Feb. 22. 

Her other octagon victories are over Hill, Syuri Kondo, Viviane Pereira and Kailin Curran.
