Action Taken on Petition to Have Conor McGregor’s Face on Currency

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor almost had his likeness plastered all over Irish currency.

The Oireachtas Public Petitions Committee met yesterday to discuss a number of requests, including one to have McGregor’s face feature on the €1 coin.

The petition was received on December 15, 2015.

Below is video of that request being denied.

VIDEO: A petition to have @TheNotoriousMMA’s image featured on the €1 coin was deemed inadmissible today.

McGregor then responded in typical McGregor fashion.
