Darrell Gholar, former UFC fighter dead at 63
Former UFC fighter Darrell Gholar has died at age 63.
The Greco-Roman wrestler suffered a stroke in 2013 due to complications from high blood pressure, which left him paralyzed.
Gholar had one fight in the UFC, a submission loss to future middleweight champion Evan Tanner at UFC 18 in 1999.
In 2023, he was awarded the Medal of Courage from the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
