Darren Till hints at fighting at UFC London event in 2022, eyeing Uriah Hall as opponent

In 2022 the UFC seems to have plans to go back on the road, and one of their biggest International superstars is setting up to compete in the UK. It has already been confirmed that the UFC will be back on the road in the United States, heading to Columbus in March of 2022, and with rumors of an upcoming event to take place in London, middleweight contender Darren Till is ready to take his place on the card.

Making an appearance on ‘The MMA Hour‘ with Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting, Till revealed that he could be part of an upcoming UFC event in London come 2022, and responded to a recent callout from Uriah Hall. While Darren Till has gone 1-2 in his last three fights, since moving up to middleweight, he’s still a top draw and could have the perfect opponent in Hall.

“There’s a big chance I’ll be fighting in London this year, you know what happens with it and who against, I know Uriah [Hall] called me out. Yeah, I’m interested, I think he’s a good fighter. I think he’s an ugly motherf**ker, but he’s not a bad fighter. You know, whatever, I have options.”

There’s likely no shortage of options for Till’s next opponent, who recently said he’d be open to facing Sean Strickland when he returns. In his last fight, Till dropped his second consecutive fight at middleweight when he lost by third-round submission to top contender, Derek Brunson.

Although there’s no confirmed date or location for an event to take place in London or anywhere in the UK, bringing Darren Till back overseas could be good for both the promotion and the fighter, who could gain some confidence fighting back home.

After Till’s comments became public, it didn’t take long for Uriah Hall to respond as he took to Twitter to respond to Till’s callout, saying that he’s ready to come to Till’s country and beat him.

“@darrentill2 every time you talk some shit you get your ass handed to you Ig uess this is another of those moments I’m gonna come to your country I’m gonna beat your ass in front of your whole crowd and I promise you I’m gonna rearrange your face. Love uriah”

There may not be a set location or date, but if Darren Till wants to fight Uriah Hall, it appears that Hall is ready to step across from him, especially if the fight takes place in Till’s backyard.
