Lewis returns after a fourth round TKO loss to Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 110 in June.  After the loss, Lewis announced that he was leaving the sport as he wanted to focus on his upcoming wedding (he has since gotten married) and spend time with family.  The retirement was short lived as Lewis then went on the MMA Hour to talk about his comments.

Before the loss to Hunt, Lewis was on a six-fight win streak dating back to October 2015.

Werdum comes off a majority decision loss to Alistair Overeem in July, their third of three fights.
