Drake loses $2 million in UFC 281 bet
Drake, the Canadian rapper, singer, and actor, took a major hit last night after losing a $2 million wager place on now former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
In the main event at Madison Square Garden, Alex Pereira finished Adesanya in the fifth and final round to claim UFC gold, but not before Drake dropped money on “The Last Stylebender.”
The bet placed on the UFC 281 title bout is just another example of Drake’s love of high-stakes gambling. Earlier this summer, Drake took home almost $4 million dollars after successfully betting on the outcome of two fights at UFC London.
