Drew Dober and Diego Ferreira will meet at Nov. 7 UFC event

A matchup between two top-15 lightweights is set for UFC’s Nov. 7 card. 

First reported by ESPN, Drew Dober and Diego Ferreira are expected to clash at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pegged at No. 15, Dober is on a three-fight win streak. He most recently stopped Alexander Hernandez via second-round TKO at UFC on ESPN+ 29 on May 13.

His recent streak also includes knockout/TKO finishes over Nasrat Haqparast and Marco Polo Reyes. His last defeat included a second-round submission loss to Beneil Dariush at UFC Fight Night 146 in March 2019. 

The 31-year-old first joined the UFC in 2013.

Ferreira is on quite the winning streak of his own. He most recently submitted former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis at UFC 236 in January 2020. His other victories came against Mairbek Talsumov, Rustam Khabilov, Kyle Nelson, Jared Gordon and Oliver Abuin-Mercier. 

Ferreira currently sits at No. 8 in the UFC’s lightweight division.
