Dos Santos has had a rough go as of late, losing his last four-straight en route to his departure from the UFC, while De Castro has already gone 2-0 (1-0 in Eagle FC) since leaving the promotion.

The event is co-headlined by another pair of UFC veterans, as former Bellator middleweight champion Hector Lombard faces former light-heavyweight contender, one of the scariest talents of his time, Thiago Silva.

We’ve also got a number of other great fights to look forward to tonight, showcasing the likes of Sean Soriano, Roosevelt Roberts, Ronny Markes, Akhmed Aliev, Islam Mamedov, one of the President’s (Khabib Nurmagomedov) former opponents in Darrell Horcher, Andrew Sanchez, and Maki Pitolo.

I became a fan of combat sports when I was 12 years old. I was scrolling through the channels and landed upon Versus, where WEC was televised. Urijah Faber fought Jens Pulver for the second time that night. That's the first fight I ever saw, and I was immediately hooked. So eventually, I began covering the sport in the fourth quarter of 2018, and have since started writing about animals as well.
