EFC 99 Gets Three Additional Fights Added To Card

With the EFC’s next event taking place in less than a week, all eyes are on the exciting EFC 98 card. Looking beyond that though, the road to EFC 100 quickens and the final stop before that historic event will be EFC 99, which will take place in early November.

It has already been announced that Igeu Kabesa will make his first defence of the promotion’s featherweight championship against the fast-rising Bradley Swanepoel. Along with that announcement, the lightweight bout between Robert Simbowe and Tapiwa Katikati was also confirmed for the November event. Earlier this week, three more fights were added to the card.

Following cancelled bouts, Takunda Gorimbo steps back into the Hex to make a name for himself against the highly experienced Nathanial Komana, who looks to get his first win following an unsuccessful debut. Pride Fighting Academy’s Tumelo Manyamala will strive to continue rising through the flyweight ranks and will go up against Salahuddin Plaatjies, who is hungry to get back in the winning column. Rounding up the confirmed fights, Sizwe Mnikathi and Prince Lolia will clash in a bout to prove themselves worthy future title contenders in the featherweight division.

With more than a month to go until EFC 99 takes place, this card could be one of the most exciting as the fighters look to prove themselves one more time this year.

EFC 99 takes place on Thursday, November 3rd.
