Erin Blanchfield wants another highlight reel finish on route to a UFC contract

Watch the interview with Erin Blanchfield above

Erin Blanchfield (5-1) discusses her flyweight fight against Brogan Sanchez (6-1) at Invicta FC 41 on July 30.  Erin also talks about her training camp, downtime, and how soon we could see her in the UFC.  While the 21-year-old isn’t looking past her opponent, Blanchfield knows what’s at stake with a potential victory.

“Whatever happens, if Shannon (Knapp) wants me to fight for the belt (next) I’ll fight for the belt. If I called by the UFC I’ll take that opportunity. Whichever comes first. Because I’m fighting at the end of July and I know the UFC is back at the Apex in August. So I get out of this fine,  I definitely want to stay ready just in case (of a short-notice fight).”
