Fabian Edwards vs Marian Dimitrov Cancelled from Bellator 275 Dublin Card
The middleweight fight between no.5 ranked Fabian Edwards (9-2) and promotional newcomer Marian Dimitrov (10-2) has been cancelled from Bellator 275, promotional officials have confirmed to MyMMANews.com. It is unclear at the time of writing why the bout, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, February 25 in Dublin, was scrapped.
Edwards was set to make his return to the cage in Dublin, hoping to bounce back from his most recent loss to title-challenger Austin Vanderford (now 11-0) in May 2021. “The Assassin” won his first nine professional fights (six of which he finished within two rounds) and established himself as one of the rising stars in Bellator’s middleweight division, before coming up short in decision losses to Costello van Steenis and the aforementioned Vanderford.
