Gary Konkol on potential LFA 131 victory “The UFC’s going to be asking about me immediately”

Interview with Gary Konkol below

Gary Konkol (4-1) discusses his featherweight fight against David Evans (4-1) at LFA 131 on May 6. Gary also spoke about how he got involved in combat sports, training at Pura Vida BJJ & MMA with UFC standout Montel Jackson and why he believes a victory will lead to a big league call up.

“The UFC’s going to be asking about me immediately. Like I’m on a three-fight contract after I beat this guy. It’s verbally agreed I get a number one contender fight after that for LFA’s belt. Then after that it’s going to be for the belt. LFA’s going to probably want to keep me around because of the money I’m bringing to the table and the eyes I’m going to have watching. All those big promotions are going to have their eyes on me.”
