Greg Sizemore ready to put on a show for Philly at AOW 30

Video interview with Greg Sizemore above

Greg Sizemore will be making the trip from Michigan to Philadelphia for the first time.  He has business scheduled at Live Casino on June 23rd.  Sizemore will be entering the cage for the main event when he challenges Earl “Trouble” Small.  This will be for the vacant AOW middleweight championship.  Art of War Cage Fighting has had some serious talent in the cage at 185 in the past including current UFC standouts Andre Petroski and Joe “Bodybagz” Pyfer.

MyMMANews reached out to Greg to see how he was feeling and to learn a little bit about him.  He tells us…

“I’m excited to come to Philly and put on a show.  I have watched my opponents fights.  I know he is a black belt, and I’m a brown belt so we both are probably comfortable on the ground. I’ll be ready for wherever the fight may go.”

How did he get here?

“I played baseball and football in high school and then went to college and played football.  After college I played some semi-pro ball but blew out both of my knees.  I’m just not a 9 to 5 guy.  I found MMA and jiu-jitsu after I decided to get into personal training over 12-years ago, and here we are now.  I love the grind and the process of evolving and getting better every day.”

AOW 30 will be a sellout according to their President Mike Bickings. You can order the PPV stream on the Starfund App.  Bickings and matchmaker Jillian Peterson have gone into overdrive for this card as there is a long list of exciting young talent scheduled to do battle.  I will be on commentary along with “the Big Homie” Justin Haskell.  The boss, Eric Kowal will be bringing you live results and photographer extraordinaire, William McKee will be catching all the best shots as usual.

Stay right here at MyMMANews as we continue to cover regional combat sports like no other.
