Tom Shoaff knuckles up and toes the line against Bruce Lutchmedial at BKFC Fight Night: Ft. Lauderdale. This fight transpires at Charles F. Dodge City Center on April 21st.
I spoke with Shoaff ahead of this one and excerpts from our chat are below.

Thoughts on the stylistic proclivities of Bruce Lutchmedial
“He’s elusive and he’s fast. Got a nice check left hook. He’s not afraid to throw his right hand and he throws it straight which is important. But outside of that, I really feel like I have all of the advantages. I’m taller, I’m longer, I’m heavier, I’m more experienced. I think it’ll be eight months since my last fight when we go out there and fight. But I’m pretty sure he fought right around the time that I did. So we should be out of commission for the same amount of time. That might be the only real advantage that he has on me. Less ring rust, so to speak.”
“But anyway, to get back to Bruce. Bruce is a talented guy. He’s been fighting for a long time. He’s been in this game for a long time. He does have assets that are effective to him. I know he knocked out Will Chope with the right hand. He was hitting Eddie Hoch with his check hook and his right hand. He does have tools I need to be wary of. But I’m not lacking in confidence is the best way that I can describe that. He has tools and I’m aware of them. I will still go out there and finish him early.”

Parting thoughts for Tom Shoaff
“Honestly, I would love to say thank you, Dylan. I appreciate you having me on, man. Taking the time out to talk to me. I’d love to say thank you to my team and my coach. My team here is Ricardo Cavalcanti Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/ Alpha MMA down here in Lawton, Oklahoma. My coach Andy Pierce, my friends, family, and supporters. Anybody out there’s who’s listening to this who is taking the time out of their day to listen to me ramble, thank you.”
