Delawares premiere kickboxing and Muay Thai promotion, Gut Check Championship Series touches down on Hockessin, Delaware on Saturday, September 24.
Taking place at the Hockessin P.A.L center, and a live feed brought to you by Fight Club Live (FCLTV.com), Gut Check returns to a familiar area to put on one of the best pro/am cards the Delmarva region has to offer.
In a highly anticipated matchup, Isaac Glendening is ready to get back to business against a youthful and slick, Lumison Jean. Glendening has been in the realm of combat sports for much longer than his upcoming opponent, Jean. However, following a lengthy layoff, and a jam-packed schedule, this OG Nak Muay is stepping back in the ring once again at Gut Check Championship Series.
“Saturday, I’m going to do the thing,” Glendening says. Fully expecting a show of “fireworks” inside the ring, the Jai Singh Muay Thai owner says. “You’re going to see fireworks.” Elaborating, “you’re going to see my beautiful Muay Thai,” he says.
Glendening reminisces to a previous time shared with a former coach who would remind him to “teach Muay Thai,” during times of distress, he recalls. “I’m coming to teach him Muay Thai,” Glendening says with a smirk.
