Michael Hill’s thoughts on Unified MMA 46 opponent Stephen Beaumont
“Well we’re not really sure where he’s at. He hasn’t been training as much and as hard as I have been for the last four years. I think he’s been out for four years. So I mean whether he’s gonna decide to take a fight in twelve weeks or not, I mean you can only get so ready. In twelve weeks for a fight against someone who’s been training for the last fifteen years every day and hasn’t stopped. But again, that doesn’t mean that I’m not ready for the toughest and baddest Beaumont. The guy’s a tough guy, right. I remember when I first started MMA, he was the big name.”

“Fought on a couple of cards with him. He was always being talked about again about going to the UFC. He just couldn’t get that win over that next top guy. I know he’s got good Muay Thai standup, he likes to fight. So the dog’s not out of him, that’s for sure. I believe I’m better than Stephen everywhere. He’s got a lot of pressure fighting in his hometown, coming back. He sure as hell’s not taking me lightly. I’m ready for the fight to go wherever… I’m his toughest test. He’s definitely not my toughest test. So it’s going to be a fight… Anything can happen inside that cage.”
