Israel Galvan Plans To Finish Mitch Raposo On Route To A UFC Contract

Interview with Israel Galvan below

Israel Galvan (5-2) discusses his vacant flyweight title fight against Mitch Raposo (6-1) at CES 70 on Sept. 9. Israel also spoke about how he got into MMA, working with Raposo’s former opponent Liudvik Sholinian in the past and why he doesn’t see this fight hitting the scorecards.

“I think he’s just going to try to lay and prey on me. He’s not going to be able to take me down. I think once I hit him, he’s going to be on his bike. I know I’m going to finish him; I’ve got to finish him. I’ve finished my last four fights … I’m going to keep that streak up.”

The event takes place at the Mass Mutual Center at MGM Casino in Springfield, Massachusetts.
