Jack Della Maddalena vs. Randy Brown added to UFC 284

An awesome welterweight bout between Jack Della Maddalena and Randy Brown is on tap for the upcoming UFC 284 pay-per-view card.

Brown himself revealed the matchup via his Twitch channel and it was later confirmed by Marcel Dorff. The bout between Maddalena and Brown takes place at UFC 284, which is set for RAC Arena in Perth, Australia on February 11, 2023.

Maddalena (13-2) recently suggested that Li Jingliang would be his opponent for UFC 284, but as it turns out, it will be Brown instead. At just 26 years of age, Maddalena is one of Australia’s top young MMA talents. He joined the UFC in 2022 and since then he has gone 3-0 in the Octagon with knockout wins over Pete Rodriguez, Ramazan Emeev, and Danny Roberts. Overall, he has won his last 13 fights in a row ever since losing his first two fights in MMA. He is one of the best boxers in the UFC welterweight division and he has won 11 fights by knockout, which shows how much devastating knockout power he possesses.

Brown (16-4) has been in the UFC since 2016 and he’s achieved a 10-4 record since then. The 32-year-old American has won his last four fights in a row including a decision win over Francisco Trinaldo in his last fight. Overall, he has been one of the most underrated welterweights in the UFC for several years now. Although he’s not a ranked fighter, he’s just outside of the top-15 at the moment.

Overall, this should be an awesome fight between two welterweights who have no problem standing and trading for the crowd’s delight. Based on his form inside the UFC so far, Maddalena will likely be the betting favorite heading into this fight, but Brown has pulled off several upsets as an underdog before.

Who do you think wins this welterweight bout at UFC 284 between Jack Della Maddalena and Randy Brown?
